[Cain had risen early and left a note for his for his family on the side: GOING OUT. BACK LATER. CAIN. So now there was a small ten-year-old boy, muffled up in a scarf and coat, knocking on every door. He sounds bunged up with a cold, but he's smiling enthusiastically at whoever answers. Could it be you?!]

Good morning! Do you need any odd-jobs doing? Or any chores? I'm trying to raise some money for a present for my family.

[B: Phone and Home]

[After a long day, Cain is sat at home with a blanket around himself and several packages by his side (presents for the family) on the couch. He's shivering and sniffing, he's never been ill before so this is a new experience on him and he's not sure what to do with it. While he's waiting for his family to come back home, he picks up the phone to ask for advice.]

What are you supposed to feel like when you have a cold? What do you do to make it better?

Well... I usually eat soup and take medicine when I have a cold!

I don't really know 'what kind'. It's usually known as cold medicine, so maybe if you go to the pharmacy... you can find it.

Oh! And lots of rest, too would be good if you have a cold.

Abel is sinking down to sit beside his brother on the couch, a little furrow of concern at his brow as he drapes another blanket around tiny shoulders. soon as he's tucked up, he's holding out a cup of steaming tea for him to take before resting his hand over Cain's forehead to feel for fever.

[He has a slight fever, but don't fuss Abel, it's only a cold. Taking the tea, he sips it and leans into his big brother's side.]

I think I have a cold, it's okay.

[He nudges the bags on the sofa next to him, giving a small smile, preferring to focus on something positive.]

I got you all presents today, aren't you curious what's in the bags?

[Belarus is lowering slightly so she can look eye to eye with this boy. Family has a lot of meaning to her, and the way he acts reminds her of her brother when they were little, almost.]

Is your fake family, or your real one?

A of course it is!

[He looks thoughtful for a moment, rubbing his runny nose.]

Abel is my real family, from back home, my big brother. The others aren't related to me exactly, but I don't think that matters for them to be family. They're still stuck here like me, and I bet they could use some presents to cheer them up, so I thought I'd try and earn money for them.

[Bel's grinning as he opens the door. You can see blood on his clothes, coming from his drone mother and drone sibling. But oh, never mind that. His way of 'hello' will be better than some bloodsplatter.]

That depends how much money I manage to earn, sir! If I only earn a couple of dollars, then I'll get them a cake to share, but I'd like to get them something each.

They're sad and missing their homes, you see, and I thought I'd try and cheer them up.

Mmmhm, I think they're all a bit homesick. So I thought I'd try and earn money for some presents, just to cheer them up.
